Textile & Apparels

With the reduction of printing costs, more and more customers, especially some garment manufacturers, have begun to choose digital printing to process orders. Because it does not require plate making and is quick to produce samples, it is used in fabric sample making, because the fashion format changes quickly, the patterns are gorgeous, the colors are rich, and there are many styles in each season, but the amount of processing for each style is small, and digital printing just caters to such needs. Produced in small batches.

Type of Dye

Reactive Digital Printing

It is mainly used on fabrics such as pure cotton, hemp, silk, wool, regenerated cellulose fibers, or fabrics containing higher components. Because the reactive dye ink does not contain alkali agent, before printing the pattern, the fabric needs to be sized, and then steamed to make the reactive dye react with the fiber under alkaline conditions to complete the color fixation.

Its Technological Process Is:

Fabric – sizing – drying – digital printing – drying steam washing post treatment

Acid Digital Printing

Acid dyes in acid dye inks are a type of water-soluble dyes with acidic groups, which are mainly combined with fibers by van der Waals forces. Mainly used for dyeing wool, silk, nylon, etc.

Its Technological Process Is:

Fabric – Sizing – Drying – Digital Printing Drying Steam Washing Post-treatment

Disperse Transfer Printing

Disperse dyes are mainly used for thermal transfer printing, and can be used for synthetic fiber fabrics such as polyester, nylon, rayon, and acetate fibers.

Its Technological Process Is:

Printing transfer paper – paper and fabric lamination heat pressing

Fabric Composition

1.Digital printing mainly on cotton fabrics. This type of digital printing mainly uses reactive dye inks. In addition to cotton fabrics, fabrics such as silk and linen can also be printed.

2.Digital printing of chemical fiber fabrics. At present, this kind of fabric is mainly based on thermal transfer printing of disperse dyes. Direct-injection digital printing with disperse dyes is also available.

3.Digital printing of blended fabrics. Such fabrics cannot be digitally printed with reactive, acidic or disperse inks alone, and digital printing with pigments can be used.
